Barefoot Bows began the way many small dreams do — around my kitchen table, surrounded by fabric scraps, ribbons, and the sound of little feet running through the house.
Before I ever poured a jar of tallow butter or stirred a batch of soap, I was sewing bows for my daughter. Each one tied and stitched by hand, often late at night when the house was finally quiet. What started as something simple — a way to make beautiful, affordable bows for my baby — slowly turned into something much bigger: a creative outlet, a form of peace, and eventually, a brand built with heart.
Making things by hand, whether sewing a bow or blending tallow and oils, is my way of slowing down in a fast world. It’s a quiet reminder that good things take time.
